Renter's spouse or significant other who meets Renter's same age and driver's license requirements are authorized drivers at no additional cost. All additional authorized drivers must be present at the time of rental and meet age and driver's license requirements. An additional fee of $15 per day for each additional authorized driver will be added to the rental cost unless other contract terms apply.
A spouse or domestic partner is the only permitted additional driver on a rental secured with a debit card. -

This reservation is made with a Contract ID number (CID) assigned to a corporate account for use only by authorized renters. Use of this CID by anyone other than an authorized renter is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action. Renters using this CID may be required to provide proof of employment or credentials (e.g. business card, current email address with company domain, work order, etc.). Questions regarding acceptable proof of employment or authorization should be directed to your travel manager.

Travel to Canada is permitted for renters 25 years and older with a credit card. Renters traveling to Canada may rent the following vehicle classes: Economy to Full Size Cars and Minivans.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. Purchase of CDW is optional and not required to rent a vehicle.
You can optionally purchase CDW for an additional fee. If you purchase CDW, we contractually agree to waive your responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage, loss or theft of the vehicle, subject to the actions set out in the Rental Agreement that invalidate CDW. DW does not apply to damage occurring in Mexico.
In deciding whether or not to purchase CDW, you should check with your insurance agent or credit card company to determine whether you have coverage or protection for such damage or theft in the event of damage to or theft of the vehicle and the amount of your excess or excess risk.
*For rentals originating in California - CDW ranges from $10.99 to $500.00 per day depending on the type of vehicle rented.

For retail rentals covered only with extended protection within the cost of the rental (excluding any liability coverage or insurance coverage provided under a commercial contract):
Extended Protection (EP) (if available): Owner will provide Renter or any AAD with liability coverage equal to the minimum financial liability applicable to the Vehicle (the Primary Protection). EP also offers additional liability coverage through an excess policy with limits on the difference between primary insurance and a combined individual limit of $1 million per accident for personal injury and/or property damage to others resulting from the use or operation of the owner's rental vehicle by the renter or an AAD, subject to the terms of the policy. EP includes UM/UIM coverage for bodily injury and property damage (only where required by law for property damage) equal to the minimum financial liability applicable to the vehicle (the primary protection) and additional coverage through an excess with limits on the difference between the minimum statutory floors and $100,000 per accident (for rentals from New York the UM/UIM limits are $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident; for rentals from Hawaii the UM/UIM limits are $1,000,000 combined single limit) or state-mandated UM /UIM limit, whichever is higher. OWNERS AND RENTERS DISCLAIM ANY ADDITIONAL UM/UIM COVERAGE TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. EP, including UM/UIM benefits, is only granted if the renter or an AAD is driving the vehicle. No claim for UM/UIM can be made due to negligence of the driver of the vehicle. EP coverage is only valid while another AAD or renter is driving the vehicle within the United States and Canada; Insurance coverage is not valid in Mexico. ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIONS FROM THE POLICY ARE: (A) PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH TO RENTER, ANY AAD, OR RENTER'S OR AAD'S BLOODY RELATIVES OR FAMILY IF SUCH RELATIVES OR FAMILIES LIVE WITH RENTER OR AAD IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD; (B) PROPERTY DAMAGE TO THE RENTAL VEHICLE; (C) FINES, PENALTIES, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; (D) PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ANTICIPATED OR INTENDED BY THE INSURED'S POSITION; AND (E) ANY OBLIGATIONS FOR WHICH THE INSURED OR THE INSURED'S INSURER MAY BE LIABLE UNDER ANY EMPLOYEE'S COMPENSATION, DISABILITY BENEFIT, OR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS OR SIMILAR LAW. (F) PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE EXPECTED OR INTENDED BY RENTER OR AADS. As a customer, you have the choice of how you want to pay for your fuel.
Option 1 - Prepay for Fuel - This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank at the time of rental and return the tank empty. The price is based on an estimate of current fuel prices and the average tank size for the car received. Unused gas will not be refunded.
Option 2 - We refill. --This option allows the renter to pay Alamo at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices.
Option 3 - You refill. --This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid additional fuel charges.

Customers residing in the United States, US Territories or Canada
Customers residing in the United States, US Territories, or Canada must present a valid, unexpired, government-issued driver's license that includes a photograph of the customer. Digital licenses are not accepted. The driver's license must be valid for the entire rental period.
Members of the United States Armed Forces who are on active duty may present an expired home state license under the following conditions:
They also provide active military identification, and
They adhere to the military extension policy of the state that issued the license. These policies vary by state and customers are encouraged to contact the appropriate Department of Motor Vehicles for more information.
Customers traveling to the United States and Canada from other countries
It is important that customers check with the appropriate motor vehicle authority in the state or province in which they intend to travel to ensure compliance with their various registration laws. Digital licenses are not accepted. The following practices are used to ensure that the customer presents a valid driver's license at the time of rental.
Customers traveling to the United States and Canada from another country must present:
Their home country driver's license, which is valid and not expired and includes a photograph, and
If the home country driver's license is in a language other than English (or French, for rentals in Canada) and the letters are English (i.e. German, Spanish, etc.), an international driver's license is recommended for translation purposes but is not required in addition to the Home Country License.
If the home country driver's license is in a language other than English and the letters are not English (i.e. the alphabet is not an extended Latin alphabet like German or Spanish, but rather Russian, Japanese, Arabic, etc.), an international driver's license is required.
If an international driving license cannot be obtained in the home country, another professional, typewritten translation can be substituted. In any case, the driving license of the home country must also be presented.
Customers are not allowed to rent a vehicle using only the International Driving Permit. The international driver's license is a translation of the driver's license of the person's home country and is not considered a driver's license or a valid form of identification.

Examples of this can be a valid passport or in certain states (AZ, CA, CO, NM, TX) a valid Mexican voter registration card and/or entry and exit documents.

Photocopies of driving licenses will not be accepted
Learner's Permits are not accepted.
Any license which, prima facie, restricts the licensee to the use and operation of a vehicle fitted with some form of breathalyser will not be accepted.
Temporary driver's licenses may be refused if the rental location is unable to otherwise verify the customer's identity or verify the authenticity of the temporary driver's license. Additional official ID may be required.

Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily fee. If accepted, the PEC contained in the policy will insure the personal belongings of the renter, additional drivers or anyone traveling with the renter against the risk of loss or damage. Benefits are payable in addition to any other insurance coverage of Renter or Passengers. This is just a summary. PEC is subject to the provisions, limitations and exclusions of the PEC policy underwritten by the Empire Fire and Marine Insurance Company of the United States. Purchasing PEC is optional and not required to rent a car. The coverage provided by PEC may duplicate Renter's existing coverage. Alamo is not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of Renter's existing insurance coverage; Therefore, renter should review their personal insurance policies or other sources of coverage that may duplicate coverage provided by PEC.

RENTER REQUIREMENTS AND PAYMENT POLICY
RENTAL REQUIREMENTS POLICY
All renters and additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age. All renters must have a valid driver's license and a credit or debit card in their name. Persons with provisional licenses are not eligible to rent. This is just a summary. Please refer to the Driver's License Information Policy for more details.
ALTER
The underage surcharge for drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 is USD 25 per day. Renters between the ages of 21 and 24 can rent the following vehicle classes: Economy to Full Size, Cargo and Minivans, Pickup Trucks, and Compact, Small and Standard SUVs with seating for up to five passengers.
DEBIT CARDDebit cards are not accepted at airports at the time of rental unless accompanied by a booked return itinerary. The name and address on the renter's driver's license must match their current residential address. Active duty military personnel are exempt from the address requirement.
No additional drivers other than renter's spouse or domestic partner are permitted.
If a debit card is used for amounts owed, the Available Balance on the account associated with Renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. In addition, the renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.

INSURANCE CHECK
At the time of rental, renters without a booked return itinerary must present transferable comprehensive, comprehensive and third party liability insurance for the following vehicle classes: Full Size Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan, Midsize Sport Luxury Sedan, Electric Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury SUV, Enhanced Luxury -SUV, Electric Luxury SUV, Limo Van and Corvette.

The estimated total amount for the rental on the "Review and Reservation" screen and/or in the reservation confirmation email will be charged to the payment method provided by the renter. If the reserved rental is changed, the estimated total amount for the rental may change and will still be charged through the form of payment provided by the renter.
At the time of rental, Renter will sign a rental agreement (the “Agreement”) that applies to the rental and includes a Rental Agreement Summary and additional terms and conditions.
DEPOSIT AMOUNT
To pay Renter any additional amounts owed under the Agreement, renters without a booked round-trip itinerary are required to post a security deposit of USD 300 or USD 850 at the time of rental for the following vehicle classes: Electric Luxury SUV , Full Size Elite Electric Sedan, Intermediate Sport Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan, Electric Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury SUV, Extended Luxury SUV, Limo Van and Corvette are required by the renter at the time of rental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Debit cards are only accepted at the time of rental if accompanied by a round trip itinerary.
The renter must use a method of payment listed above for the deposit amount. The amount of the security deposit will only be available to the renter after the return of the vehicle and/or will be refunded to the renter.
If Renter incurs additional amounts under the Agreement, such additional amounts may be deducted from Renter's security deposit, if applicable. If these additional amounts, if any, are not deducted from the deposit amount, they will be charged to the form of payment provided by Renter at the time of rental, unless Renter provides another form of payment listed above for charging.
If a debit card is used for any of the above amounts, the available balance in the account associated with the renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. In addition, the renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.
Money orders and prepaid cards are not acceptable forms of payment at the time of rental, including for the deposit amount, but may be used to pay any amounts due at the end of the rental upon return of the vehicle. Cash is not accepted.
In addition to any of the payment methods listed above, credit cards with sufficient Available Balance listed in the renter's profile or loyalty account (Emerald Club, E Club, etc.) will be accepted as payment for all amounts owed under the contract.
All amounts owed by Renter under the Agreement will be presented (a) as an authorization to deposit and ultimately charge Renter's credit or debit card, or (b) to charge Renter's debit card.

Renter may purchase Roadside Plus (RSP) from Owner for an additional fee. If Renter purchases RSP, Owner agrees, subject to actions voiding Collision Damage Waiver, to contractually waive Renter's responsibility for the cost of providing 24-hour roadside assistance (if available) to replace lost Keys (including remote access devices) included. Roadside assistance (if an inflated spare tire is not available, the vehicle will be towed. The cost of a spare tire is not covered by RSP), lockout service (if keys are locked in vehicle), jump start and fuel delivery service for up to 3 gallons (or equivalent). liters) of fuel when the vehicle runs out of fuel. Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily fee. If accepted, SLP will provide Renter and Authorized Drivers with a combined individual limit of up to $300,000 for Third Party Liability Claims. If the renter accepts SLP, Alamo provides liability coverage up to the applicable minimum financial liability limit and Zurich American Insurance Company provides liability coverage from the applicable minimum financial liability limit up to $300,000. This is just a summary. SLP is subject to the terms, conditions, provisions, limitations and exclusions of the Supplemental Rental Liability Insurance Excess Policy purchased from Zurich American Insurance Company. Purchasing SLP is optional and not required to rent a car. The coverage provided by SLP may duplicate Renter's existing coverage.
