There are many broken wheels on cheap spinner cases, but those found on the ILite Xtreme are some of the strongest we've seen, and other reviewers seem to agree. The integrated fabric handle on top AND on the side accompanies the telescopic handle, making it a breeze to carry it however you prefer. American Tourister is one of those flagship brands that you see all over the airport, and the ILite Xtreme is the best bang for your buck.
American Tourister doesn't have the same quality as Samsonite, but you'll find that it's slightly cheaper than Samsonite in price - making it a great choice for our list of the best luggage brands. You may have seen the AmazonBasics brand in a different iteration before. AmazonBasics was founded by Amazon when they saw opportunities in certain categories that were being sold on their website. They started selling electronic accessories like cables and chargers in 2009 and have since expanded into hundreds of different categories. They made our list because they decided to enter the luggage market and make a very affordable suitcase.
The affordability combined with the good standard of quality that we've come to expect from AmazonBasics products immediately makes them one of the best luggage brands. Because they can control the supply chain, they are able to offer decent luggage at very affordable prices. They don't have the same wide range as Samsonite but you can't really go wrong with the models they sell for the price.
AmazonBasics offers luggage options such as hard or soft shells, individually or as a set, and various sizes from carry-on to oversized. We suspect Amazon will continue to expand their luggage line, but for now they've made it to #11. We hope to see more of them in the future, as well as a little more improvement in the current line. However, if you only have around $50 for a suitcase, AmazonBasics is a great budget-friendly choice.
